PicoRaptor is Ironwood’s rigid pin ATE production test contactor that uses a single elastomer for high electrical performance, high insertion count, and ease of rebuild. Designed for Analog, RF, and MMWave device testing in automated test environments.
PicoRaptor pairs a rigid BeCu-NiAu pin with a P elastomer for firm contact to both load board and tip, with a wipe action and Ironwood’s Advanced Contact Finish (ACF) keeping resistance stable by minimising solder migration off contact tips. Available in 1mm (PicoRaptor-1) and 2mm (PicoRaptor-2) lengths down to 0.30mm pitch in a laminated Cirlex® Polyimide cartridge within a Torlon 5030 frame, with PicoRaptor-2 delivering higher cycle counts and lower gram force for fine-pitch production work.
